St Anton boasts an extensive range of ski accommodation, ranging from simple private rooms to catered chalets to luxury self-catering apartments.
The hotel sector is still far and away the biggest and most popular for visitors from other countries. Again, there is a wide choice - from modern boutique establishments to five-star elegance to family-run comfortable hotels.
Other Nearby Ski Accommodation
With the map featured above to the left, it is possible to see the various different lifts which rise into the ski area. There are various sections of St Anton clustered around these base lifts where accommodation may be located.
At the top of the map is the suburb of Nasserein. This is located between the main resort and the neighbouring village of St Jakob and is built on a slope rising from the main road.
Between Nasserein and the resort centre is a long flat section, which can either be traversed on the main road (yellow on the map) or the village road heading towards the pedestrian centre above it .
Quite a number of hotels and pensions are located along the main road and smaller roads connecting it to the village road.
The pedestrian centre can be found around the base of the three lifts furthest to the left on the map. Obviously one of the most convenient areas in the resort, it is also the liveliest during the day and the evening.
From here to the left edge of the map, the road rises quite sharply on its way through to St Christoph. Again there are quite a number of hotels and other types of accommodation in this area - this is where much of the newer guest accommodation has been built.
Our "top-rated" selection of accommodation below is based on feedback from guests who have stayed with our travel fulfilment provider Booking.com - a larger choice in each category is available by clicking the ad at the bottom of each section or by using the general search box above.

St Anton is one of the main Austrian winter resorts where visitors can find ski chalets.
A catered chalet holiday traditionally means self-contained accommodation which can be taken over by a family or group of friends. A chalet host will cook breakfast, provide afternoon hot drinks and cake and, for most days of the week, will prepare and serve an evening meal.
The concept can range from luxury chalets with a sauna, ensuite facilities and gourmet food through to more modern versions where large apartments have been repurposed for the chalet market. Specialist catered ski chalet holiday providers can be found on the British and Irish holiday market.
Featured below are one catered St Anton chalet and one chalet which does not provide catering but allows the opportunity for a medium-sized group to have exclusive use of a single house.
